The above club will run an open Hare & Hound Enduro, run under the ACU Hare & Hound Regulations,  the National Sporting Code, the following supplementary regulations and any final instructions.

Please take time to read all sections carefully 
There is no access for support crews or spectators on any  part of the course other than the start area. 
All Riders will be take part in a sighting lap after the riders briefing before the start of the event.

Directions – On the A35, between Charmouth and Axminster turn into B3165. After about 5 miles, at Birdsmoorgate, turn left towards Thorncombe and follow Track n Trail arrows to the venue. Closest postcode is TA20 4PN  but  please do not follow Sat Nav directions as these will take you on unsuitable roads and will cause traffic problems. What3words///onto.rave.guests

The venue will be accessible from Saturday the 18th.

Camping is available at £10 per pitch, leveling chocks are advised
For this event, our Paddock is a privately owned field and very much in the public eye. Consequently, there  are a number of restrictions as follows: 
• Please park as directed by Marshals and signs. 
• Absolutely no naked flames,  fires or fire pits.  Barbecues or griddles etc must be raised above the  ground so no grass is burned. Please also ensure you have a suitable fire extinguisher.  
•  The running of motorcycle engines in the paddock before 8am is forbidden & will lead to exclusion.  
• The use of pressure washers is prohibited. 
• Please leave Junior's motorcycle and any bicycles at home - there is nowhere for him/her to ride and they are NOT  insured! 
• Please keep dogs on a lead and clean up after them all dogs need to be wormed and kept away from livestock
• Any maintenance needed during the course of the event, must be carried out in the Pits while using  an environmental matt and this will be strictly enforced. Competitors working on their machines, must protect the ground beneath the motorcycle from the absorption of any liquid spillage. 
 • Please take your rubbish home. 
• The above points must be complied with in the paddock
SCHEDULE:
Signing on/Scrutineering:    8:30-9:30 AM
Riders Briefing:                    9:45 AM
Sighting Lap:                        10:00 AM riders will be set off in class order
Start:                                     10:30 AM Dead engine start, on the drop of the flag. Class order 2 minute intervals
Duration:                              3 Hours (a huge 7 mile Lap)
Finish:                                   Will finish on the Leader. (when the leader crosses the line after the 3 hour mark)


PIT LANE:
We will be using a “GNCC Style” Pit lane. The pits will be laid out on a sweeping corner, there’s no advantage on individual pit positions. No outside assistance is permitted in the pits. Pit crews may hand a rider tools and fuel cans ect, but they must stay outside the pit ropes. You are welcome to set up easy up tents for pit crews next to your pit location if you wish. 
Riders must have an environmental mat and fire extinguisher at their pit. 
Please note there will be blue tape/rope areas, these will be monitored very closely and a strict 5mph limit is in place.
Failure to comply with any of these points will result in exclusion or penalization. 

MACHINE EXAMINATION / SIGNING ON: Signing on and scrutineering will be on Saturday morning between 08:30 and 09:30. Riding numbers will be issued at signing-on. Bikes MUST then pass-through machine examination with numbers on the bike before you  will be allowed to start. Machine examination will finish at 09:30 prompt!
“Please have a screenshot of your ACU license available for us to view when signing on rather than try and access it via the ACU site and holding the queue up due to an unreliable phone signal. There is little mobile phone coverage at the  Start Area”. 
ACU Licences: At signing-on you will be asked to display your 2026 ACU licence or purchase a One Event Licence (£25). Failure to provide a valid 2026 ACU licence  will mean purchasing an ACU one event licence for which you will have to pay £25.00 cash. 
Rubbish  
Please take your rubbish home. We have an excellent reputation for leaving our start areas in pristine  condition, so let's keep it that way.  
Security 
The security of your vehicles and belongings is entirely your responsibility. Please ensure you bring suitable  chains/padlocks etc. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. 
Machine Examining 
It’s the riders responsibility to ensure their machine is at a standard to pass scrutineering, helmets must be presented for inspection at the same time. Please be  sure that your helmet is in possession of the appropriate ACU sticker. Please remember the use of tear offs  is prohibited. Cameras must not be fixed to helmets, or your body. 
Please be aware of the ACU ruling, that cameras must not be fitted to helmets, or to your person.      ( ESR 14 ) 

Exhaust Noise 
For this event, please ensure that your bike is adequately silenced to current ACU enduro limits. Should your exhaust system become noisy during the event, please endeavour to repair it and do NOT ride it making excessive noise.

   Riders' Briefing 
  There will be a Riders' Briefing 15 minutes prior to the departure of the first riders. All riders must attend.
Course Marking 
The course will be fully marked with ORANGE Arrows + WHITE & YELLOW Track tape. Additional areas may be marked with Blue tape or Blue rope. Within these areas, the mandatory speed  limit is 5mph. Failure to comply will result in exclusion or penalization. 
Marshals 
Please follow all instructions issued by Marshals and Officials as they are there for the benefit of the riders  and the event. 
Accidents/First Aid 
If while riding the course you encounter an accident, please alert a Marshall who can notify the medical  personnel. If you encounter an incident where medical staff are already in attendance, please slow down.  Any minor injuries may be dealt with by the First Aid staff.  
All injuries must be reported to the Secretary of the Meeting before travelling home.
Medical conditions, Anybody with any medical conditions that our first aid crew need to know about please go and speak to the guys from Dorset medical and bring him up to speed before riding.

Catering 
A catering facility will be at the Camping/Start & Finish field from early Friday Evening. Ahh Roma Coffee and Cake will be in attendance offering premium coffees and hot drinks as well as pastries and cakes. If you are wanting something more substantial please plan to bring something yourself.
The Organisers wish all riders a safe and enjoyable event.

DESPITE THE ORGANISERS TAKING ALL REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS , UNAVOIDABLE  ACCIDENTS CAN HAPPEN. PLEASE COMPLY WITH ALL INSTRUCTIONS OF THE  MARSHALS AND REMAIN IN PERMITTED AREAS ONLY.
