Things to watch out for when riding at Huntick.

  • In the woodland and through the parkland please be very careful and watch for tree stumps, we have marked or removed most but there's always one or two that may not have been spotted.
  • There are two very narrow bridges to cross make sure you cross on the centre of them.

Please keep your goggles on at all times there are lots of thorns and debris that could damage your eyes.  Remembered no tear offs at Enduro events they are poisonous for farm animals.

Sighting lap
Track n Trail Marshals  will lead the sighting lap, please be very vigilant at navigating your way round.

Footpaths and right of ways
There are two places the track crosses the right of way and these will be indicated with crossing ahead signs and  walking pace signs.  Please cross these sections at walking pace.  These  crossings are also manned by marshals ensure you follow any instructions given by the marshal and stop if you are asked to do so.

  No riding outside the Track
Riders can come on and off the track at any time of the session but there is absolutely no riding outside the track.  Once you are off the track you need to push your bike, please return to your vans when not riding.

Hard and Easy routes
There are a couple of hard and easy routes on the track. The hard routes are marked by a red sign and the easy route will be on a green sign so watch out for those in various places.

Track markings
Crossed arrows
this is a warning sign  look out for an obstacle or danger.
An orange arrow on either side of the track you need to ride between the two arrows.
Yellow tape marks the side of the track, sometimes there will be tape on both sides.  Ride between both sides of the tape.
Some sections may have orange arrows on one side and track tape on the other side, so you ride between them.

Injured riders
If anybody comes across an injured rider please make sure you keep a good distance away from them and park your bike across the track diagonally so no one else can run them over.  We would ask you verbally check they are okay and if they need first aid assistance send a rider on to the event control  or the closest right of way station to inform us a rider needs help. There will be plenty of riding marshals out on the track and they will take over a will look after the injured rider. If the rider has neck or spinal injuries, please do not move them.

Warning Motorsport can be dangerous and may involve death or injury! Despite organisers taking all reasonable precautions accidents can happen.please comply with all instructions from marshals and notices and remain in permitted areas only. they are only concerned with your safety.
