Arrival 1pm -2pm

Riders Briefing

Parking

Please be ready to be directed to a parking space.

The track will open at 10am we will send a marshal round to tell you when the track opens. The first lap is a sighting lap. Please push your bikes to the track entrance.

Any refuelling must be done in the pits area.

Toilets

There are toilets at the venue, please continue to follow good hygiene protocol.

Event control

Will be at the Track n Trail tent.

Medical conditions

Anybody with any medical conditions that our first aid crew need to know about please go and speak to Rob from Dorset medical and bring him up to speed.

Things to watch out for when riding at Tenko, Tenko has had sand and gravel removed leaving extremely deep bomb holes so please be careful when riding the venue you can quite often be close to a 20ft drop. These climbs and descents  are used for most of our hard route sections.  Two of the four hard route options have very steep drop offs.  Please take care if you decide to use these.

Please keep your goggles on at all times there are lots of thorns and debris that could damage your eyes.

Sighting lap

Marshals will lead the sighting lap, if you miss the official lap it is your responsibility to use your first lap as a sighting lap.

No riding outside the Track

Riders can come on and off the track at any time of the session but there is absolutely no riding outside the track.  Once you are off the track you need to push your bike, please return to your vans when not riding.

Hard and Easy routes

There are plenty of hard and easy routes on the track. The hard routes are marked by a red sign and the easy route will be on a green sign so watch out for those in various places.

Flags and arrows

Crossed arrows that is a warning sign  look out for an obstacle or danger.

An orange arrow on either side of the track you need to ride between the two arrows.

Yellow tape marks the side of the track, sometimes there will be tape on both sides.  Ride between both sides of the tape.

Some sections may have orange arrows on one and yellow tape on the other side, so you ride between them.

Footpaths and right of ways

The track that you enter the venue on is a bridle path so be incredibly careful and thoughtful crossing from the parking area to the track entrance.

There are two  places the track crosses the right of way and these will be indicated with crossing ahead signs and  walking pace signs.  Please cross these sections at walking pace.  These  crossings are also manned by marshals ensure you follow any instructions given by the marshal and stop if you are asked to do so.

Injured riders

If anybody comes across an injured rider please make sure you keep a good distance away from them and park your bike across the track diagonally so no one else can run them over.  We would ask you verbally check they are okay and if they need first aid assistance send a rider on to the event control  or the closest right of way station to inform us a rider needs help. There will be plenty of riding marshals out on the track with latex gloves and face masks and they can look after the injured rider. If the rider has neck or spinal injuries, please do not move them.

Warning Motorsport can be dangerous and may involve death or injury! Despite organisers taking all reasonable precautions accidents can happen.

please comply with all instructions from marshals and notices and remain in permitted areas only. they are only concerned with your safety.
